It is important to note that in some ways, employees can motivate themselves but the employers or the business should also have a plan set aside that would help to motivate the employees.

Employees love to work in environments that are peaceful and very comfortable. The workplace needs to be  aesthetically pleasing, well-lit and  functional.

The workplace needs to be very clean and importantly the employee should not feel uncomfortable and disorganized while at work due to how the workplace has been set up .

It is very good if employees are given the best of salaries but more often than not , employees would love to continue working with business especially when feel part of the business and wanted as well.

Food is a basic need or necessity of any man. If the business is able to provide food for its employees, they would have the sound mind to concentrate on work and work effectively .

The provision of food goes a long way to motivate employees especially as they wouldn’t have to think on a daily basis what they would eat .

Being a respectful superior at the workplace also helps to motivate employees. Whenever employees get the sense they are respected and are treated as human beings, they get the urge to work hard .

When  the  business is rapidly expanding, giving your employees room to grow within the company is a huge motivator.

When you give your best employees growth opportunities, it shifts their thinking from “this is just a side job” to “this could be a full-fledged career.”

Having insight into how business is going makes your employees more invested. The business can  send out daily, weekly, or monthly sales reports or even information about how the business is performing .Having access to all this data not only makes your employees feel like they’re an important part of the business and positively affects motivation.
