Homowo is a festival celebrated by the Ga people of Ghana. The festival begin in the month of May with the planting of crops before the rainy season. During the festival, we perform a dance called Kpanlogo. Homowo is celebrated in remembrance of the famine that once happened in the history in precolonial Ghana.
